Atherton Council Funding

I KNOW.. I KNOW.. WIGAN GET ALL TAX PAYERS MONEY! So this MUST BE A LIE.. RIGHT?

Well NO.. In fact Atherton has had over £777,311.48 through the Wigan Council ‘The Deal’ funding to help local community groups and charities. That’s not to mention the extra £500,000 for the Town Hall & Library regeneration and the £200,000 towards the Parish Church Heating, Memorial Garden and Brighter Borough Funded projects. Your Labour councillors will keep fighting for more fund for our beloved town even if we have had other areas moaning saying all the money goes to Atherton..
